We recently purchased a Coachman 27ft ultra light trailer and love it. The dry weight is 4492 lbs and the carrying capacity is approximately 2400 lbs. I initially had concerns about my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee's ability to handle the towing task, so I considered acting, but did a little research and found the importance of a sway control weight distribution bar. Let me tell you, it changed the world. I no longer felt like my stomach clenched every time a car passed me, but was more comfortable driving it on the street/highway. I hardly felt the trailer sway even when large trucks passed me. It was pretty easy to install, but I watched a lot of videos until I felt like I knew what I was doing. Mind you, I've never had a trailer that big, so no experience. Another important thing to note is that I'm a fairly strong woman, but not at all muscular. However, if I can do it, most people can. If you're getting into the towing business, be sure to consider this amazing device. Hope that helps.
