There are a few things I like about this product compared to others I've tried. I will give my opinion below: 1. Unlike what I have now, the holder has a support at the bottom. This prevents the device from slipping2. The sides slope inwards slightly to keep the phone from falling out. The pads provide extra comfort when holding the phone. Also, the side supports are deep enough to hold the case on my phone. Haven't tried the battery compartment yet, but visually I'd say it's not a problem3. To hold the phone at an angle I would like them to have a tension ball mount that can be screwed in to ensure it is strong.4. The clamp for the ventilation louvre has a tightening tensioner. The other one I have only has a spring that doesn't hold up when I use it in my Jeep Wrangler (not the smoothest ride). The quality of this part of the holder is good in my opinion as it is a metal bolt and nut. I don't have a long-term estimate yet, just my observation out of the box. I will order another one for my car if it lasts and I think it will, quality seems good.
