cats. Mine are very lucky that I love them so much, otherwise they would have been thrown out into the street for destroying all the furniture in the house. Instead, I buy cases and cover EVERYTHING, with varying degrees of success. This desk chair cover is one of the success stories. It fits my chair very well - easy to put on, easy to remove for washing - and hides all the dents, scuffs and scratches on the original faux leather upholstery. It also makes my chair a lot more comfortable - the faux leather was so cold I always felt like I was about to slide off my chair. This case is cozy and plush without feeling hot or sweaty. It should be noted that the color I chose was very similar to the original color of the chair, so I can't appreciate how translucent it can be. if you want to change the color drastically. It does appear to be a pretty decent gamut though. One very minor complaint - I wish they had used a zipper that matched the color of the cover. A big black zipper on a light beige fabric is not the best choice. Also, I used a cheap, small, 2-pound neoprene-coated dumbbell ($2.20 at Walmart) to stow the cover where the seat meets the backrest; I just tape it between the backrest and the seat - I've found it works MUCH better than the plastic strips sold for this purpose, and it's cheaper too.
