I bought a new tablet computer for my girlfriend and it had few ports so I decided to step up a notch from the hub and got this docking station with really good specs. Out of the box, this is a reliable device. All connectors are high quality, not cheap flimsy types, but solid, high-end connectors that either snap in or sit right where no connector is loose. The power cord connects well too, with plenty of wire to get the long way to my outlet. And I like a handy plug-in like this where the adapter plug is solid and never dangles. The USB ports offer consistent throughput when I plugged a portal drive into one of them and it worked. Perfectly synchronized with the speed of tablet drives. The video connections are also of high quality. Because of the 4k ports, a driver for Windows 10 can be downloaded from their website, which loads quickly, loads quickly, has no complicated installation questions, and works great after the computer restarts. The ethernet throughput is impressive too, here I compared the tablet WiFi and then I plugged the cable into the docking station and wow what a difference in speed. The docking station works great, I highly recommend this, I am very happy with the purchase.
