We bought two of these for my kids (5 and 8 years old) to protect their iPads. We have had one of the iPads for over 5 years and the stand on the previous cover broke after a few months. The stands are strong and durable. They're definitely bulky, but you need them if you want your young kids to hold an iPad. They have stood the test of time and made several long journeys, including moving house. They were definitely dropped and protected the iPad mini. No break and they are still going strong. I don't know if that matters to others, but the colors are vibrant and natural. My phone case discolours slightly, but not this one. They wash off easily and stay vibrant in the red and blue we ordered.
