You cannot talk to anyone through this cable.

I bought this unit thinking I could listen to music and talk to people as I bought it with my other (from a different seller) which my kids broke. didn't think there was a big difference. Music plays fine for me but when you try to answer the call you can hear them but they don't. I gave it to my husband because he just wants to listen to music and doesn't get a lot of calls while driving.

It turns off so I have to unplug and replug it to losten to my tunes
