Always respected this company. My last pair was sent back for a replacement tip and Chaco sole. As I got older, my legs started to grow. So I increased the size by an 8 and gifted my 7 to a friend. I was excited to get another pair. But the disappointment passed quickly. Once you put on sandals, you can no longer tighten your ankle. This is a problem for me. My sandals are a must for outdoor adventures like rafting, camping, short hikes and other water sports. You have made a change. The lace is now sewn in place so you can't adjust the ankle. Glad I checked out my old pair. Foul in favor of Chaco. These sandals are an investment, please revert to the old design.
