I started using false nails because I can't justify spending so much money on visits to the salon every 2-3 weeks. I also enjoy painting my nails, but I hate using acetone to remove them, especially since I change up my manicure often, so I usually just pluck at the polish to wash it off. So I started looking for alternatives that don't cause as much damage to my nails, especially as I pride myself on having beautiful natural nails. These stickers are very good, although they need to be learned. They hold up well and stay put after showering, sleeping (tossing and turning a lot) and washing dishes (although I'm light and wear gloves most of the time). They are also easily removed by soaking them in warm water with a little soap for a few minutes. My only complaint is how wide the lugs are. To solve this problem I trim them a bit with scissors but even then they leave a small gap between the fake nail and your natural nail. My hair gets stuck under artificial nails when I run my hand through my hair. I can see it's really great for cosplay, especially if you're wearing a wig so you don't touch your hair and the stickers are easy to remove. . Otherwise there are probably other alternatives such as glue or using regular double sided tape that doesn't leave a gap.
