This is the first 'beard oil' I've bought and I think I'll be using it for years to come. First the smell. As others have said, it's hard to describe - it's not the stereotypical fruity "lime" flavor; an earthier masculine version. Sandalwood is more odorous than lime or other ingredients. I love it and my wife (who is often very picky about smells) loves the smell on my face. Second, the feature - does it work as promised? In my experience yes. I keep my facial hair fairly short, so I can't speak to its effect on a long, metallic-style beard, but for a clean, fairly short beard, it does a great job. One of the concerns I had was whether it would negatively affect my skin and make it more acne prone or oily. I am happy to report that in any case, this has had nothing but positive effects in this area. I have had no problem with acne since I started using it daily and my skin is softer than ever without being greasy. My facial hair itself feels softer and less spiky. Third, packaging. Nice design on the bottle and overall the pump works pretty well. It pumps out the perfect amount—small enough that unless you have a large beard, you don't pump out too much to use at once, but just enough that you don't have to use ten pumps to lather up your face. .Overall I will definitely continue to buy and use it daily.
