I bought the 45qt BougieRV dual zone refrigerator cooler with Bluetooth app after reading all the reviews. I have to say despite seeing a number of bad and good reviews the unit received is perfect.I've been running it for the last few days running a series of tests. I wanted to see if the fridge could cool quickly, if it cooled accurately, and how much control I had over its configuration and it's calibration. As it turns out, if you read the manual you *really get a lot out of it*. This fridge has advanced controls which are in the app that let you set things like the hysteresis and calibration for the temperature. I didn't need to touch them though because they were nearly perfect out of the factory. The fridge cooler has excellent settings to keep your battery from getting drained in the car, or from over draining its own internal lithium battery if you decide to purchase one. The fridge has a normal and eco mode to save power, and at the same time it also has configurable voltage cutoffs to prevent your battery from becoming over drained in the car, RV, van, truck or whatever you've got.The Bluetooth app paired to the fridge instantly. While the front control panel is not the most straightforward to get to all of the functions, they are clearly labeled just under the display panel. This makes it a lot easier to control the fridge even if you don't install the app.The fridge has a maximum power draw about 60 watts at 12 volts. It supports a battery, which seems to be a bit of a standard amongst the different manufacturers. BougieRV is working on an 11.1 volt battery that has USB-C charging and support, as well as being able to charge from a 12 or a 24 volt source. Because I didn't want to wait till December, I bought a battery from one of the other manufacturers that fits. It is also 11.1 volts, but requires a 12.6 volt charger, or can be charged by the refrigerator itself. It takes a while, especially if you're using the fridge while charging the battery. It'll charge in about 6 to 8 hours gently from about 11 volts to 12.6 volts.I tested the freezer by putting in four 20 oz water bottles and nothing else. I set the freezer to -4°F and they froze solid after an overnight in the freezer. The actual temperature of the freezer tends to move up and and back 4 degrees from the set temperature. This is in line with the hysteresis setting in the advanced menu of the Bluetooth app. Well done.I set the refrigerator to 38°F, loaded it with four 2 l bottles of soda, and from warm it settled in at around 34-36° and stayed there. The coldest it got was 33 ° but it did not freeze the sodas. This is a good thing. The way the fridge works is that it wraps it's evaporative coils primarily to the freezer, and there are a couple windings coils around the larger refrigerator section. It is a true two-zone system! You can actually set both sides to be freezers, The larger side can be a refrigerator while the smaller side is a freezer, or you can set both of them to be refrigerators. It's an excellent setup. Both sides of the fridge have bright LED lights which make it really easy to see what you're picking out of them. The refrigerator side has a drain plug, which is easy to remove to drain the unit. The thickness of the bottom of the unit is about 3/4 of an inch or so and it is filled with insulation. The lid is completely insulated, with foam just like a yeti. The only complaint I have is that the seal around the lid is pretty basic. You may want to consider replacing the seal with a better one if you are going to be using this fridge all the time in an RV or van conversion. The fridge I purchased has baskets on the refrigerator and the freezer, you can buy two different models one that has the baskets and one does not. I highly recommend purchasing the one with a baskets since it makes it easier to arrange the storage and lift the stuff out.One other potential hack which is worth noting is to cut out a piece of insulation material like styrofoam or mylar bubble wrap the size of the left, and the right opening. That way you can keep your freezer cold or your refrigerator cold when you are pulling items out. This is only the first week I've had the unit, I intend to update this review if there are any issues, and just to update on how well this unit works over time.
