Please note that the small hopper has very sharp edges, the bottom of the hopper has not been polished or polished, that is where the sharp pointed edges of the metal burrs are This kitchen gadget was bought for an elderly lady, luckily we tested it before giving it to her. She could easily cut herself or swallow the metal like it was meant for eating. This is unacceptable for security reasons. Hopefully it was just a defective item that didn't pass quality control.
