Keeps what it promises

Complete blackout, as they say. Installation is a bit more complicated than window tinting - you can't look through to chase bubbles, so you'll have to keep checking from the other side. However, the texture creates many pathways for the bubbles to escape, and the pattern hides minor imperfections. I installed it by spraying window cleaner, laying the film in place and spending a few minutes squeezing the bubbles out. It came out good enough. If I were to do it again I would make the window wetter instead of the soft mist I used.
