This chair is absolutely gorgeous, the executive office chair. Wood and velvet give it a sovereign, stylish look. In addition, it is soft and comfortable. With this chair behind your desk, you'll feel right at home. But what you gain in looks, you lose in functionality. Imagine a standard, well-designed task chair. Nothing can be adjusted here except the height. If it doesn't fit your body, you won't like it. But my biggest gripe has to do with the incredibly uncomfortable armrests. They were clearly made to look good, but form over function. Easy to assemble. Please note that you must keep cats away from this chair. They quickly tore it to pieces. CONCLUSION: A great authoritative chair, but the comfort could be a little better. UPDATE: There is a design flaw. The wheels are not permanently attached so the wheels will fall off every time you lift the chair. Super annoying.
