(And I don't usually write reviews) First the box is sealed with gorilla glue and then sealed with duct tape like bubble wrap. Second, I finally open the box to see how the screws attach to one half of the stand. Third, by folding the two halves. together was the greatest pain. know why? Because they are not up to par. Get 3 pegs in 4th, don't match. 4. After my husband, who works on machines all day got the damn thing lined up. Now he's not even standing up. 5. I am trying to insert a DVD into the same box in the slot. THE SLOT IS TOO THIN.6, the slots at the bottom are wide enough for VHS. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap book stand from Walmart and put your DVDs on it. Less out of pocket, less stuff to deal with, and oh yeah. You can put the DVD on the shelf as you like.
