Review on Cozy Products CL Radiant Heater by Lamont Wilson

I have a 22 3/4 by 16 1/2 connector as pictured so the packaging says 24 1/2 to leave room for the chord. and the instructions say to mount not horizontally but vertically, contrary to the pictures. It says not to be used in wet areas. Like so many here, I bought it for the bathroom. It didn't fit where I wanted it behind my toilet, but I was able to install it on the vanity next to it. The cable is quite long, I'm sorry I didn't measure it, but it's installed. This thing gives off a nice glow despite what some people say, but you have to be close. I have a 6' x 10' bathroom and the one next to the toilet does heat up noticeably, if only by a few degrees, and if I leave the door closed overnight you'll feel a few degrees difference again, but it helps. I love the hot towel idea but there is no place or shelf for it. Didn't get the stand due to it's size but other than that all you get is a small velcro with taped sides to secure it. I recommend buying one if size isn't an issue and I still can as it's a staple and takes 2 days to ship. Velcro is not enough, you will receive 2) 2 pieces per inch and some small cleaning pads. Will update more later. One star off due to installation limitations, especially vertically. If I were in a cold office I would first grab the doormat and then put one or two of these under the table and I'm sure you would feel a real difference. Connect them all to a timer on a switch. The panel is single sided, the back is unfinished with a print that you don't want to see on the outside. The business side looks good, the case is all metal. The laser heat gun sets the temperature at 125 degrees Fahrenheit in the center of the heater and about 98 degrees Fahrenheit at the edges. He heated the right side of the toilet to 80 and the other side a few degrees above the tile temperature of 61. I didn't feel obligated to turn on the fan heater I have on the ceiling which is 1500 watts, if that's true it should pay off and be useful to me about 3 months a year in the dead of winter. I recently had tile in my bathroom and I'm really sad they didn't put heating tape on the floor. The bathroom is an extension of my house of 'unknown provenance' built decades ago and when we've tiled the entire room it gets cold and radiant when left outside in the teens or under. This was bought to try and keep out the cold when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or take a morning shower. I have IBS and am sensitive to heat at times, but it's convenient just 8 inches from my toilet and keeps cold tiles at an acceptable level, especially with a synchronized ceiling heater. However, I stress that this does not raise the temperature in the room unless the door is closed and the person barely feels warm while sitting 8 inches from them. For me, that's enough to stop the chills I had on a cold morning. Maybe the 250 watts was the best choice, but the size was too big for me. I am thinking of making a hot towel rail by mounting one to the wall using jumbo 3mmm command bar products. Simply hang your towel up while you shower, then place them on a stand away from the heater or on a shower curtain rod to dry. The chord has a switch that lights up so you know when it's on. If I were in the office, I repeat, buy a floor mat first and then buy one of these if your feet are less than 8 inches from it as it doesn't raise the temperature in the office at all. I've been lucky enough to get 2 degrees overnight in a closed tub but it helps with my application and I feel a slight warmth as I sit on the throne next to him. For heating, 400 watts is ideal for a bathroom and should be mounted low, about 6 inches off the floor. They are all different sizes so check out everything and the reviews they offer. This is done so that under the tables within a few centimeters there is no cold on the feet. The table idea is good too.
