EDIT 11/24/2020: I raised the issue with the seller and after several rounds of testing they said they had changed their image. At this point it looks like it has been removed. The first thing I noticed was that the highs dropped significantly. Not necessarily bad, under certain conditions, but not what was advertised. Although it's difficult to say what was actually advertised. Because the frequency response they deliver is only 16k-20kHz (which most adults can't even hear). In fact, if you look at my test, you'll see that it's even in that range. Unfortunately, this "flat" point is more than 15dB behind the 4k point where the roll-off started. So not flat, but also not a booster like my cheap Insignia model (older version, not NS-DLMIC10P). I prefer the Insignia sound for my own voice. Maybe I can find a use for those boring units for someone with a squeaky voice. Maybe if you interview two mouse people. To clarify, although the fundamental frequencies of the voice are lower, the information at 4kHz+ is important. With its clipping, the area sounds lifeless. I will say that reducing the range can solve some problems. However, as a rule, when equalizing, we use specific frequencies and not the entire range (so as not to lose the liveliness of the human voice). The adapter, on the other hand, works great and comes in a cloth bag.
