These clips are very strong but the hook is not very big. I had to try twice to hold my purse by the clip. My bag also has very narrow shoulder straps. If you have thick straps this may not work. I didn't care that the headrest had to be raised about an inch to accommodate the clamp. But if the above doesn't concern you, I can say that the clips are very thick and made of very hard plastic that is very strong to the touch. AFTER A NOTE: AFTER USING THIS FOR SOME TIME, I WILL BUY IT FOR MY HUSBAND'S CAR ALSO. . THE HEADREST HOOKS ARE REALLY GREAT AND WHILE NOT PERFECT BUT THEY HELPS AND THE PARTS ARE EASY TO ACCESS FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT. I TRIED ":CATCHERS" THAT ARE IN THE CENTER OF THE SEATS AND BETWEEN THE STRAPS NEEDED TO BE HOLDED AND PROCEED AN INTERFERENCE WITH THE CONSOLE, THEY ARE NOT USER FRIENDLY.
