I bought a bronze tie and it's about what you see in the product list. The fabric is not listed in the product description but the tag sewn into the tie says it is 100% silk. I was expecting a gold color but the actual color is best described as bronze. Due to the textured weave, it is not as shiny and smooth as a typical silk tie. The color is a black background type with a textured gold outer layer. Two colors create a bronze effect. The semi-solid color makes it very versatile. And it's not a narrow or wide tie, but somewhere in between, which should mean it can survive fashion changes over time. The only caveat I would make is the size/length. I'm 6'0" and if I tie it so that the two ends match almost exactly, the tie falls to my waist. Anyone who is 5'9" or smaller may appear too long. I bought it with brown tweed. Wool waistcoat and dark brown jacket. It looks cool with a white shirt and dark jeans, a vest and a blazer! Add a dark brown flat cap and I'm ready for fall. In terms of versatility, Bronze looks great with a black, blue, or tan suit and white, light blue, or tan shirts. As such, it offers reasonable versatility for those who care about stripping down their closet to a few minimalist pieces that can cover a lot of bases.
