As a first time poly gel user, it took me about five nails before I really got the knack for it.The forms didn't fit my nail beds so I had to file some edges which wasn't convenient. I finally decided that since I wanted shorter nails anyway I would skip the forms and freehand the application. After a couple of nails I had it down. I saved a lot of product going freehand for my short nails.Pro tip: if you have a e-file you will have an easier time shaping your nails at the end.Note: it's REALLY hard to squeeze the gel out of the tube. I struggled a bit with that. Next time I will use a toothpaste squeezing bar.
