I ordered an extra drive to match the one I've been using for two years and when I received the box there was a note saying it had the drive I hadn't ordered so they gave me a free upgrade to an even better one. A military-grade FIPS-encrypted hard drive was new. It never stayed connected to the VM through the ESX host even though it was configured in VMWare. After several attempts at editing the registry, restarting VEAAM backups, checking with our managed service provider and tweaking the settings according to Apricorn's instructions, a month later I give up and send it back. I ordered a replacement to match my existing one which has never given me any problems. I hope this time I get what I ordered.
