Review on Black Premium Rubber Floor Mat, 4-Piece Set - Kraco R5704BLK by Brandon Baird

I have mixed feelings. The rugs themselves will definitely get the job done. They fit my car (1997 Toyota Rav4 2-door model) very well without having to cut them, although by cutting them apart I could tell it would be easy if I had to. They don't dangle under my feet like my old mat, and the rubber is just more convenient. However, the smell of new rubber is STRONG - totally unbearable in my tiny little car - and it hasn't noticeably diminished in the 2 weeks they've been there. I drive with the windows down whenever possible just to let the air circulate. As other reviewers have said, the mats are NOT CLEAR. They have this weird, almost neon shade of lavender that I don't think is subtle. I'll take care of this because I'm not too picky or too lazy to try to return an item or buy something new. I like the functionality of these rugs - I just hate their smell and color. Let's just hope the smell goes away over time.
