The sleeve will affect the pencil's ability to fit inside the iPad sleeve.

Very pleasant to the touch and in the case. Writes beautifully on screen. The color was exactly as shown. The only problem was getting it into the slot in the iPad case. The only way to make it fit was to insert it into the pencil slot. If you mainly use your pencil outside of the case, one case will do. If you'd rather carry your iPad in a case, then it's best to ditch the case altogether.
