I've bought/used these over and over again. Two subpages. First, they move a lot, so you really have to push on them and slide your shoes right through them. Secondly, the fibers do not withstand the strong UV radiation (sun at high altitude) as well as we would like, so with age the fibers break down and do not resist dirt. You've had enough of a few UV inhibitors, but haven't encountered a success story yet. The only way out seems to be to buy some add-ons and hide them in a dark place, but even then they get old too. Buy them cheaper and switch.
