I like that this set has medium sized threads and lots of colors - so you will most likely find the right one and have enough thread not to worry about that Leak. The items added such as good sized scissors, needle threader, safety pins etc seem to be of good quality for a cheap 'travel' kit. Items are held in place by wide elastic loops and the whole thing is zipped so nothing can fall out. I found starting the filament from the spool a big disappointment. I don't know where to start and there are no obvious places to start. There are also a few things which I would personally never use. small plastic hook big plastic? darning needle? and mini (but chunky) brackets. The set could have been a bit smaller if some items like this were left out. In general the quality is good. I've renovated a few hotel rooms while traveling and can attest to its ease of use (apart from creating a theme!). and practical product quality. The yarn itself could have been of better quality - it's a little flimsy and could potentially break more easily. Praise for the amount of yarn, variety of colors, ease of use, reliable set and amount of goodies included. I would buy it again in a heartbeat or recommend it to others. So minus one star for the threading issues (get an easy starting point and be thin), but kudos for the thread count, variety of colors, ease of use, robust set, and amount of goodies included.
