I was very unimpressed with this monitor and will be returning it. I saw the color reviews here on Revain before I bought it and ignored them (I think most people are overly critical) - but they're right. The color reproduction on this monitor is just plain bad and contrary to what some people say can only be improved slightly with a tweak. You can adjust colors with the terrible (and very unresponsive) OSD menu. You spend half an hour pressing cheap plastic buttons over and over again and get frustrated because the buttons only respond once every second or two - press them faster and it just doesn't matter. All this time has been spent and you finally realize that there is no way to fix this - this monitor is not designed for bright colors and high contrast. We're talking about response time, refresh rate and the ability to see your enemies in shooters, which is achieved through brighter and more washed-out colors. It might make it easier to see shadows in your favorite game, but it doesn't help in my opinion. Everything I draw on this monitor looks bad. This is probably a minor point for most people, but I have one particular gripe with this monitor that I just couldn't stomach: the volume control. You'll have to access the OSD every time you want to change the volume when using the headphone jack on the back of the monitor. It's not easy either - accessing volume is impossible without stumbling through at least three or four levels of menus. Pooh!
