Great option for MC-GPS

I've been using Rider 550 for 3 months and I really like it. It's clear, concise, and has a surprising amount of features when functionality is built into it. The ability to create thrill routes works really well and gives great results. The UI takes some getting used to and I could have laid out the menu differently for me), but that's not a major downside. Bluetooth and WIFI work well and the cloud functionality is impressive. It's very easy to plan a route on your mobile or desktop computer and transfer it to your device. Loading GPX files from other applications is also hassle-free. The update is very easy since everything is done via WiFi. There is no need to manually upload files, memory cards or anything like that. Using it is easy thanks to a clear screen that is touch sensitive. I have no problem operating the device with or without gloves, regardless of their thickness. The kit includes all the necessary hardware to mount the device on the motorcycle. The RAM mount is very high quality and will likely cost $50-$75 alone. And then there's the price. That's great. If you time your purchase right, it's half the price of the latest Zumo. It might not be as sharp and the screen is a bit smaller, but at 50-75% the cost it's a lot better value. I would recommend the TomTom Rider 550 without hesitation.
