I really wanted to like this product but it fell far short of my expectations. The ball connectors are made of extruded polystyrene foam, while the connecting rods are made of plastic. The design concept is good, the connection angles of the rods and balls are calculated precisely. The main problem is that the sticks are held by the foam balls by friction, so after several insertions of the sticks into the holes in the balls, the sticks start to slip out of the holes. The igloo form seems to be the most reliable in terms of construction, but even when very thin/lightweight blankets are used to cover the igloo, the form continues to fall apart and it becomes very frustrating to keep repairing it. In addition, the rods begin to bend. My son climbs into the entrance of the needle very carefully, but even a slight movement causes the rods to pop out of the connector's holes. And all this after just a few days of use. Styrofoam balls must be plastic with threaded holes, and the rods must have threaded ends. Most likely he will just throw it away as it would not be good to give it to someone else. I'll probably just buy a camping tent for my son instead of a fort. Very disappointing and waste of money :(
