It does what it promises. This is useful for correlating the result of the shot and where the ball hit the face of the racquet. Today I used it for the first time on Sand Wedge and Pitching Wedge, 30 shots with a decal every 10 shots as these buckets require more precision than other longer irons or woods. Here's what I found today: 1) wear longer; and 2) a longer roll. Now stickers are meant to record points of impact, so I understand that distance doesn't matter here. Just pointing out the difference in feel and distance when using this product. In any case, I don't think anyone has played the golden game with stickers on their sticks, but I was confused at first because the balls traveled much further. Here's one possible theory for what happens when you hit a ball with a sticker on it: Putting a sticker on the face of a racquet appears to change the surface property. This makes the surface softer than a bare metal surface, ie the surface is dented a little to "hug" the ball. This reduces the height that the ball rises the moment it hits the face of the racquet. Because of this, two things happen: 1) the ball's trajectory is lower, so the ball's carry is longer; and 2) due to the "hug" and slippery surface created by the sticker, the ball has less backspin, causing the ball to roll farther than normal after it hits the ground. I think these two factors, which are actually caused by the same factor, contribute to the increase in distance. This is not a criticism or complaint. I was just surprised that the balls flew a lot more than usual. I don't hit the sand wedge and pitching wedge with full force, so I can tell a noticeable difference in flight. I love the sticker and look forward to finding out how it can help me improve my golf, especially my short game. I recommend this product for every golfer. Another thing is using the results and conclusions.
