My 7 week old son slept very well for the first few weeks and then out of nowhere he flipped the switch . He had to be rocked and held to make him fall asleep. Since the 18-month-old also needed my attention, I couldn't keep him from sleeping all day. So I made this investment. We hired Snoo when my daughter was little and didn't like it. We don't want to go down this path again. So when I found this I was excited. But to my dismay, it didn't work out like the miracle I was hoping for. However, every child is different. It didn't work for me, but it might work for others. Advantages: - Easy assembly. It took my husband 15 minutes to put it together and he's a slow guy. Smooth look, not too colorful. Scream detection works. The size. We have a tiny bedroom and I was afraid it wouldn't fit, but it did a great job without blocking too many walkways. - VERY DURABLE - The mattress topper is much thicker and more comfortable than most carrycots. Cons: - The rocking didn't help my baby to fall asleep or sleep longer, which is why I bought it. - Has only one type of movement - there is almost no music and white noise. We still had to use a standalone sound engine. The reviewer said the buttons are noisy. Our sound machine could mask the keys, so this wasn't a problem for us. Despite everything, I still can't get them back, mostly because of FOMO. Good that the return period is 3 months.
