edited 9/8/19 - this product deserves negative stars. The smell of this bag seemed to get worse, and I returned it yesterday. My phone case and my wallet are now contaminated with this odor. It's AWFUL. I can STILL smell this horrid bag when I come in from outside.EXTREMELY UNHAPPY. My wallet and phone cover are runed. So this cheap stinky $40 purse is now going to cost me an additional $60 - $70 -$80 to replace them, too.The style was cute and the size was great, but not worth any of this.It has a very strong, distinct chemical smell, not the smell of new leather. Not pleasant at all. It also has no tag or label indicating that it is genuine leather. The smell and the shininess of the bag make the claim of 100% leather suspect.If the smell does not dissipate in a few days I will be returning.Otherwise, the size is pretty good, not too big not too small, and so far the zips work smoothly.Wish I had read more reviews, I would not have ordered had I seen anything about the smell, or that others also suspect this is not 100% leather. If it is PLU, that is 100 % genuine false advertising. PLU is NOT 100% leather and cannot be advertised as if it is.
