Review on Renewed Logitech K800 Wireless πŸ’‘ Illuminated Keyboard: Brighter, Better, and More Convenient by Ewa Malec-Nawrot ᠌

Medium quality, especially for that kind of money.

If there's one version of this product that I would unhesitatingly recommend for purchase, it's the older one. It is unfortunate that Logitech has chosen to cut costs so drastically even on keyboards that cost between 8,000 and 10,000 dollars. Some pros: A keyboard designed for "slim laptops" that has a comfortable key travel. illumination with hands being automatically detected. Wireless. The charge is maintained for a considerable length of time, which is approximately two weeks of intensive use with the backlight turned on. despite its advantages. After around five years, it started to come apart; the keys were lost as a result of the holders breaking off, which suggests that the plastic wasn't selected very carefully. I recently purchased a new K800, and it is completely different from the previous model in every way: the material is more abrasive, the logo is no longer painted with a metallic finish, the USB cable does not have a Chinese name, and the batteries cannot be replaced without first taking apart the entire keyboard. Because the keyboard itself is skewed and lays in a "arc" on the table, and because it is elevated to a considerably greater degree than the original, the level of comfort experienced when typing is instantly reduced to a significant degree.
