These pants are very warm. You are very small. My granddaughter is 8 years old, she is very slim, average height. I bought a size 8-10, my legs ride up after about an hour in it (I think it's because of the fluffy warm lining) and the waist leaves a fairly deep mark around the waist. Cannot be worn after 1 wash (95% cotton). I'll wash in the cold and air dry, I'll hope for the best. If she didn't love them so much I would send them back now. Order at least 1 size larger.
- The cut from the crotch to the waist appears short while the legs are slightly longer. Great for warmth.
- The strap may not be adjustable, causing some children to keep slipping off the wrong item.
