Not exactly a night light.
We love this lamp! However, the cord from the outlet to us looked like it had no cover and was dangling loosely from the base. To use the light we had to buy an extra base/cable. The cable is also very short - only about a meter. You may need an extension cable for this. It's also very bright, too bright for sleeping, despite being advertised as a night light. Otherwise this light is great! The batteries work well and the remote control works.
