Does the job best in my review

These are considerably lightweight as they're made out of pretty thin metal. They're decorative yet simple. It does the job!

Pros

I am using these to hold up cutting boards as well as books. They look nice and are sturdy.

Cons

The bookends may not be suitable for use with books that have a glossy or slick cover
