Let's keep this review short and simple. Want a mechanical keyboard, can't afford a mechanical keyboard, but hey, is it just a few bucks more than a similar membrane keyboard? why not this one? Pros: It's a cheap AF. Seriously, $30? it's like 6 pumpkin spiced lattes. It's actually more of a mechanical than mechanical keyboard feel, you really get that sweet click! backlight! Not only is it mechanical, but it's also backlit! and it's not too bright, just right, easy to see even with the monitor right in front of it. Raised keys, a simple little touch but makes the keyboard so much better. Now for the cons: There aren't many cons. In fact, at this price point, it's tactilely better than literally any keyboard since it's a true mechanical keyboard. But that's not the case. Still, this is a Cherry MX Blue clone, the real Cherry MX Green has an actuation force of around 70 grams and this keyboard weighs 55 grams. I measured in quarters, it took 10 quarters for the switch to click. But more about these switches, they say they are Greetech switches, but I can't find the same or similar switches anywhere on the internet! These switches can be counterfeit fakes. But let's face it, this is a $40 mechanical keyboard. it's actually mechanical. The only thing that could be improved is that the keys are a bit bigger, I don't have children's pens. and maybe a wrist rest, but honestly? This keyboard is an incredible value and I highly recommend it!
