I use these on my charcoal grill for indirect grilling. They are sized to fit over a ceramic sheet and under ribs, chicken or other cooked meat. I put the beer in a container and as the meat cooks the fat drips into the pan, mixes with the beer and evaporates all over the meat again. These pots are excellent because they are used once but remain intact although after 3 hours of 300 degree heat all the liquid is gone leaving only a black layer of sludge and I throw the tray away. The size is perfect, very durable and completely disposable!
