You get what you pay for with this product, but slightly better =P!Originally we bought these to replace our toddlers earrings which were falling out due to rough playing, taking clothes off, and just general normal day-to-day activities. However, the rod gauge was too thick for her ear holes. In the end we didn't end up using these for her because we couldn't fit them in her original ear piercings - that's too bad. My daughter picked them out, liked the shapes and colors online, and the price was great! You can tell these are not world class quality - they were $9! That's OK. My wife ended using these as her second set for just normally "mommy" wear and tear (her nice earrings are kept for special occasions like date night!). If you need replacements or just ear-fillers these are great, just be prepared to deal with the slightly larger-than-normal gauges.
