I also bought another model which I had to return as it is not compatible with my Samsung Dex. He would just switch off. This is a great projector and well worth the money! I've only had it for a day or so but it's way better than expected. I assumed the resolution wasn't 1080p and like other projectors in this price range no text is displayed. The extra small fonts are a bit washed out, but the normal and oversized images are fine. The photos range from a lot of light (you can even see the sun on the closet door at first) to darker. The first three images are the same room/light conditions. Not bad! I've had full size projectors in the past that don't show as well. The last photo isn't even completely dark. I chose not to do it full screen so you can see the text. All were filmed with the built-in Android system without using HDMI. The Samsung dex works great over HDMI and is a really neat little package for hanging my phone on the wall for presentations or watching a movie. The speakers are good but this thing syncs perfectly with BT/kb/mouse speakers for more sound etc. With such a small portable device, speakers can't be boomers. A few apps needed updating, like YouTube, and everything worked great. I couldn't get Miracast/Android wireless playback to work, but it tells you how to get it working and provides the files you need to watch on a device on the network. I'll be hooking up an HDMI cable to my phone to use with Dex anyway, so no big deal. It probably works fine, I'm just having issues with my new Android device. The battery lasted quite a long time as advertised and charges fairly quickly with the 12v adapter. I was hoping to charge it with a 5V USB fast charger, but you can't have everything! This is a must have for anyone wanting a cheap big screen with built in Android OS with access to apps/games etc. Great for kids. The thing gets a little warm, but not dangerous.
