I needed a light black shoe for work. I needed something that could be on my feet all day and cover many miles. I've had them for about a year and wear them every day. I've washed them in the washing machine several times and air dried them. They still look and feel like new. I've lost 50 pounds and my shoes aren't wide anymore so I'm ordering a second pair in a smaller size. I used to wear 7.5w so I ordered 8 and they fit perfectly. I am planning to order 7 as I have lost weight. The first pair was very true to size, so I think the second pair will be the same. By the way, these are the lightest shoes I've ever had and are great for international travel and all-day sightseeing. These are my favorite shoes because of the comfort.
