Shammi for your kitchen

I was curious about what a Swedish kitchen towel is and we Americans affectionately call it a shammi. Likewise, divers dry off when they come out of the pool, or my husband dries his car after washing. It absorbs very well and worked really well when I cleaned my stainless steel fridge with a cleaner and a good buff. One snuck into the dryer after the washer and didn't seem to be very good. It will become stiff after the first wash and dry. It does the job, but I'm not sure it will replace our kitchen dishcloths any time soon. A hard-dried towel is a little less suitable for wiping surfaces.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Too long to wait
