Medium quality Faux leather, soft rubber sole. Buckles are for show only; Actually velcro but because of the buckle it's not flat and doesn't close very well. I ended up removing the velcro and sewing on the buckles for us to use. They look cute and seem relatively comfortable. Lower quality probably isn't a big issue as they probably won't last long enough to wear out and at this price point it's unreasonable to expect quality materials. They work great with some modifications.
