From the owner: I love having these repair plates ready in my garage whenever they are needed for a project. They are easy to have on hand. Each of the strong plates can take the 8 included screws. You will receive 10 plates and 80 screws (Phillips). If the screws don't suit what you're doing, you can always replace them with your own. I bought these specifically for some of the garage shelving that I have installed. The shelf brackets had to be screwed into the studs behind the drywall to support the load, so the chipboard shelf sections between the brackets sagged. I installed 2 of these steel plates under each joint from below. When I installed the screws, the ends of the boards were raised, flush again, and the problem was fixed. Recommended.
