Review on 🌊 Enhance Your Water Quality with the Whirlpool WHAROS5 Reverse Osmosis Filter by Amanda Spencer

Easy to install replacement for my old WHER25 reverse osmosis system

I've read a number of bad reviews about this system regarding leaks around the yellow hose connector. It seems many of these reviews may have come from an earlier version. However, I had a Whirlpool WHER25 reverse osmosis system for many years and the system eventually stopped producing filtered water. I charged the tank which helped for a couple of months but I think a build up of sediment in the hoses was clogging the pre-filter. I chose the hot tub because the WHER25 system has been running for so long and the filter change was SUPER easy. No bucket, no towels, no tools required. This new system I bought uses the same filters and I reckon the filter change is easy and the system is about $50 less than the WHER25 with the same principle. Installation took about two hours. You just need to install a faucet (more on that later), connect to the plumbing (already for the previous system) and lay a hose to drain the sewage. I used a standpipe from a dishwasher for the drain. Lay all hoses, cut them to length (with service loops), plug everything together, check the pressure, disinfect and blow out. Everything is pretty straight forward. Now to the crane. The faucet on the new system is the same as on my old system. It looks cheap, a bit flimsy, and my old one twisted every time you turned the water on and off. I decided to order the best faucet from ESOW (model ZT-02) which looks much better. The time will show. The ESOW faucet comes with matching adapters for easy connection to a spa reverse osmosis system. I'll probably take a whirlpool faucet timer and throw it under the sink so I can use it to let me know when 6 months has passed or you can also have whirlpool text you every 6 months to Letting you know when it's time to change filters. The whole system comes with a small storage tank, which is good in my case as a larger or wider tank wouldn't fit under my sink. CONS: Filters are quite expensive.
