Review on Walker Exhaust 31537 Flanged Exhaust Pipe Gasket by Ken Kowal
Not the best replacement for the C5 Corvette muffler gasket.
Walker calls this gasket a direct replacement for muffler gaskets on 97-04 Corvettes. After ordering and comparing to the original gaskets that were removed from the car, the external dimensions and bolt spacing were correct, but the actual exhaust port diameter is about 1/4" smaller than the original. This means that this gasket too throttling of car exhausts, which is unacceptable.
