As an elderly man I needed to replace the extension phone in my bedroom. I used to have a princess phone so for the sake of simplicity I decided to use this design again. The color didn't matter. Connecting to the landline was easy. The only problem I had was that the cord that came with the phone and connected the phone to the handset -- the plugs on it were too big - - - so I used the cord from the phone, which I threw away would have.
