Decent product but not what it's advertised as

So I bought these for a new guinea pig cage which I got instead of fleece liners because fleece liners are very expensive. Bad choose. I had to spend money on wool. They are not nearly as absorbent as fleece. They can see urine and it stays wet if they have a favorite place to urinate. In addition, the lower rubber part is also wet. I've never had this problem with fleece. This is not the best option for replacing wool. I plan on keeping this under fleece, but I'll have to buy fleece lining from now on. Also, her nails are stuck to the fabric.
