Pads all came broken had to be sent back

I think when buying brake pads by post the sender needs to open the factory box and put the filling inside. Brake pads in the box are lost. This item took weeks to reach my house. I think I have to try. That was for 1990 and eventually the local dealers just stopped selling the stuff.
