Ordered 10/12/2020, received 10/16/2020 - so far so good

Sent from California to Massachusetts. I'm upgrading from a fairly old machine with an i7-3770 processor and GTX 960 GPU. I've been planning to build a new box with an RTX 3080 for a while but never found a 3080 in stock. I check Revain and Newegg every few days and found this complete system on a Monday afternoon. The price seemed good to me so I ordered it with faster shipping and it arrived on Friday evening. The components I received seem to be of decent quality: GPU - PNY XLR8 EpicCPU - AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Motherboard = AS Rock x570 Steel LegendRAM - TridentZ RGB DDR-3600 2x8gbPower Supply - Thermaltake Toughpower 850 Watt SSD - Seagate FireCuda 520 Estimated SSD 1TbI The total cost of the components is around $2200 with the price of the GPU being $800 so the total price of $2500 seems really good to me. I migrated two 2.5" SSDs and one 3.5" HDD (tightly attached to the PSU) from my old machine. Laplink PCMover started to transfer applications, files and settings from the old machine. Took about 4 hours from unboxing to transferring everything from the old machine. I've run various stress tests and tests with no issues. Running GPU test Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 GPU-Z shows max GPU speed 1950MHz, Memory speed 1187MHz, Board power = 320W, Max temperature = 72Β°C. System performance in standby mode ( with 2 monitors) = 200 W, load power stress test = 700 W. The GPU fans get quite loud under full load. Geekbench GPU scores appear to be average for the 3080: Single Core = 1311 Multi Core = 10748 OpenCl Calculations = 175928 CUDA Calculations = 196118 Vulkan Calculations = 114984 Minor Cons: - The GPU board was not in the box when unpacked motherboard socket. although it is surrounded by foam. It's easy to fix, had to open the case to get the foam out anyway. Windows 10 version was 1909, had to update to the latest version 2004 to get PCMover working. reach the bottom of the hull by 1 1/2 inches. Cut out a piece of wood to match the body. Keyboard and mouse are quite cheap.
