My S3 Frontier refused to charge on my original stand that came with the watch about 3 years ago. I didn't know if it was a clock or a dock. I contacted customer service and they wanted me to ship my watch to China. When the warranty expired I decided to try the cheapest route first and buy a new docking station. Don't buy cheaper $10 docks if you have this problem, it will destroy your battery. When I tried charging this new dock everything was fine again and I ended up spending a fraction of what a new smartwatch would have cost me!
