Review on πŸ‘” Premium Leather Belt with Classic SlideBelts Buckle by Ben Cooper

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The only strap you have to worry about at the end of the asshole.

I have 2 different versions of this belt and have been using them about 16 hours a week for almost 2 years. They look great and are very comfortable. I like the high degree of tightening adjustment and the ability to quickly change buckles, although I've never done it. For looks and lifestyle I would give it 6 stars out of 5. Owning two and having a crappy yarn gave me an idea of some of the functional design flaws that reduce this 6 stars to 3: due to the rotation of the spiked clamp. You insert the belt from below and then lower the clip/lever which in turn rotates the spikes onto the belt and holds it in place. This rotation will cause the strap to be approximately 3-4mm from the maximum insertion point of the strap and buckle. The distance is meaningless if there weren't a possibility of accidentally fully discharging the buckle. All you have to do is "slightly" press the buckle into the belt. Because the strap is 3-4mm from the end of the buckle, this freedom of movement allows for a single swipe to fully "squeeze" the buckle. I think the manufacturing tolerance allows the clasp to move more easily on some straps. My bad belt is very easy to push out at any angle. The other requires a very precise shot. So where could this have happened? How about finishing an ass session in a toilet stall at work? Your buckle will fall right on the ground next to your colleague's booth, forcing you to either reach out or have your buckle kicked off. Guess what? it happened to me This buckle fell out on me 3 times, once of which it ended up in a neighboring box where I "clumsily/majestically" put my foot on the adjacent side to pull the buckle back. The fastest way I've ever washed my hands. "Click when walking." This is due to the design feature of using a floating arm. Depending on the angle at which the strap wraps around your body (mainly depending on how fat you are), the lever can float too much causing it to move freely and click when you walk. It didn't happen to me until I lost 25 pounds, but it doesn't happen with my other sliding belt. I'm inclined to think this is because the manufacturing tolerance is on the wrong end. So here it is. I go to the company toilet with a clicking sound to announce to my colleagues that I'm going to take ***, and then I toss my buckle to the next stall. But everyone is still jealous of my great looking belt. Oddly enough, I would probably buy another one because they are gorgeous. Maybe just tape the fasteners on so you can never push them out and stick the tape where it clicks.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Coarse
